K38 EVENT SAFETY

A Course Marshal provides a measure of security on the race track for officiating and recovery work. This position requires a strong level of multi-tasking skills and clear objectives. A willingness to work on a team under pressure and to provide additional support services if required by the promoter.
K38 takes this to another level with have experienced operators who are also K38 Rescue instructors/operators, first Aid trained and often have other qualifications such as Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion. Shawn Alladio (founder of K38 US) has taken event safety to the next level espcially while working as a official for the IJSBA  (International Jet Sport Boat Association) to ensure PWC’s or RWC (Rescue Water craft) play a pivotel part of safety and rescue for Aquatic events.
Here at K38 Water Safety Australia we follow the same professional direction offering our services in the support of Aquatic events. If you are holding a approved event such as PWC/Jet Ski Racing, Ocean Paddling, Surf Life Saving or need to be on the water filming a event please contact us to discuss your requirements. We would need to discuss in details your event with items like the below to be covered
  • Risk Assessments
  • Conditions fore-casted for the day
  • Conditions on the day
  • First responder plans
  • Additional Emergency Services planned
  • Insurances
  • Safety Briefings
  • Command and control at the event
  • Event rules and regulations
Currently for 2011 we have 10 events already booked into support and there will be a post event brief in the gallery after its completion.
